We are currently looking for staff for the summer provisions in Torfaen.
The play provisions will run from Monday 28th July – Thursday 21st August 2025
Training will take place the week of the 21st of July 2025

Play and wellbeing Support Worker - £13.05 per hour
Providing 1-1 support to children with disabilities/ behavioural needs. This may be based on a playscheme, Food and Fun Camp or on a play and respite site.

Apprentice, Work Placement and Training Opportunities
We currently work in partnerships with training providers such as ACT and ITEC offering work-based placements and on the job learning. We also host apprenticeship placements.
Play Awareness Training is available free of charge to be delivered to schools and community groups
Work experience, college and university placements are also available.

Volunteering with the Play Service
The Play Service is currently looking for volunteers aged 16+ to support our summer playschemes. Your role will entail working as part of a team to provide play opportunities.

All volunteers are entitled to claim expenses £15 per day towards their food and travel.
All volunteers will be supported to complete training.
All volunteers will be eligible to be provided with a reference of their playscheme experience to support them in future employment and study.
